Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor is going to break a million hearts on July 7 when he ties the knot with Delhi-based girl Mira Rajput. The actor, who has chosen a life-partner from outside the glamorous world of Bollywood, will reach New Delhi on July 2 for the preparations of his D-day.

According to reports, Shahid and Mira’s wedding will be a small affair with only 40-50 people in attendance, but the couple will host a grand reception at a five star hotel in Mumbai soonafter.

A source told “He will invite all his friends from the industry. The menu will comprise a mix of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian dishes.”

The couple, who will wear outfits designed by ace designer Masaba, will have a traditional Punjabi style wedding. “The wedding will be preceded by a mehendi and sangeet ceremony on July 6. It will be an intimate affair with only 40 to 50 guests in attendance. They will all be put up at Hotel Trident in Gurgaon. Shahid will fly to Delhi on July 2 along with his family. The marriage ceremony will take place in traditional Punjabi style at a farmhouse there,” the source added.

Shahid Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with Delhi based Mira Rajput on July 10.

Recently there were rumours that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has refused to do intimate scenes with actress Alia Bhatt in their movie together ‘Kapoor And Sons’. Another Pakistani actor Ali Zafar too had refused doing kissing scenes.

Now it seems that hearthrob Shahid Kapoor, who is all set to tie the knot with Delhi based Mira Rajput on July 10, will follow suit and is expected to include a no-kissing clause in his contracts post marriage.

According to a report published in Bollywoodlife.com, Shahid Kapoor is not interested in getting intimate with his heroines on screen. It seems the actor might make it a mandatory clause in his film contracts.

It’s also reported that Shahid’s fiancee Mira had accompanied him to Malaysia for the recently held IIFA event night. She might not have been there on the red carpet, but she was there.

Shahid Kapoor’s wedding to Mira Rajput is just a month away (July 10). And the event has already got the media buzzing. The latest update on the do is that at the actor’s marriage only vegetarian food will be served to the guests.

News sources suggest that the decision is not of Shahid’s who’s a vegetarian but both would-be bride and groom’s parents. Both the families are followers of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, a spiritual organisation. It was with the blessings of their guru that the match was arranged and since the guru will be a part of the wedding it was decided that a simple vegetarian spread will be laid out at the occasion.

While this being the wedding scene which will only be attended by close family members and friends, it’s said that the actor will also host a lavish reception party where both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare will be served.

Vishal Bhardwaj's ‘Haider’, an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s famous dramatic masterpiece Hamlet, has swept six awards out of eight nominations in the technical awards category at this year’s International Indian Film Festival (IIFA). It was announced in Wednesday.

The critically acclaimed film, a yet another adaption work from Vishal Bhardwaj, has won the highest number of awards at India’s’ premier and most prestigious international award function. Haider won a total of 6 technical awards including:-

The film Haider starring Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead with Shahid playing the leading role of Haider has already won national award.
